Ms. Alifeyah’s door only rise about halfway up to the top of the garage entrance before coming to a stop. It opened and closed fine from there, but it wouldn’t rise above that point.
Our Solution:
The opener seemed to be working fine, to all appearances, if only the garage door were half as tall as it actually was. This usually means a problem with either the logic boards or the opener’s travel and limit settings. We reset the opener from the manufacturer baseline and reprogrammed it for the customer’s door, including inputting the travel and limit settings again. That fixed the problem.
