Our Solution:
As usual when a garage door opener refuses to keep itself closed, the problem was with the photo eye sensors. We adjusted their alignment, and also cleaned the sensor eyes inside and out to make sure it wasn’t an obstruction. One of our measures must have stuck because there were no problems after that.
